Here’s what you need to know about the types of packaging that might arrive in your fresh grocery box:
- Shipping box & tape: Curbside recyclable & made from 100% recycled content
- Interior box dividers: Curbside recyclable & made from 100% recycled content
- Insulated liners: Curbside recyclable & made from 97% recycled content
- Void fill (crinkle paper): Curbside recyclable & made from 100% recycled content
- Plastic bags: Drop-off recyclable (check the rules for your area) & made from up to 30% recycled content
- Insulated bags: Drop-off recyclable (check the rules for your area) & made from up to 30% recycled content
- Ice packs: Pour the gel down your drain or use it as plant food, then the plastic film around it is drop-off recyclable
